Most accounts on Instagram require money to be transferred to a person’s personal bank account. It is difficult to recover the money as it does not fall within the framework of trade laws. Accounts on Instagram do not comply with e-commerce requirements imposed by the Ministry of Commerce, most notably lack of e-payment, commercial registry and tax number display. Moreover, the CPA also stated that there is no clear written policy for exchange and refund operations.
Frauds mostly take place while buying and recharging clothes, abhayas, e-games, recharge cards, internet etc. Complaints are also in these matters.
