Commemorating Queen Elizabeth: Royal Family Gathers at Scottish Estate, Excluding Harry and Meghan

On September 8, it is exactly one year ago that the world says goodbye to the beloved head of state. To commemorate Elizabeth, the royal family gathers at their Scottish estate. For example, not only King Charles and Queen Camilla will travel to Balmoral, but also scandalous Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. Of course, William, Kate and their children are also present, as are Princess Anne and Prince Edward.

The British royal family has not yet released an official statement about exactly how the Queen’s commemoration will take place, but Harry and Meghan – who live in America – would in any case not be invited. Striking, because the couple can easily make the crossing since they have to be in Germany the day after the commemoration because of the kick-off of the Invictus Games, an international sporting event initiated by Harry for soldiers who were injured by or during the service.

An insider tells The Sun however, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t stop there: “If they’re not included in the plans, they’ll find a way to mark the event in their own way.”

The bond between Harry and Charles has been in doubt for years. Their relationship has only deteriorated since the prince in his book Sparein Dutch Reserve, claims that things happened between him and his father that the world doesn’t know about. If those matters came to light, the royal family would never forgive Harry.
