Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces, General Andika Perkasa allowed descendants of the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) may register in the selection process for the acceptance of TNI soldiers. Andika took this step by checking the conditions previously regulated in the recruitment process for soldiers within the TNI.
This was emphasized by Andika in the meeting of the acceptance of TNI soldiers, namely the TNI Academy cadets; Army Soldier Career Officer; Military Officers Career Soldiers; and the Army Career Soldiers for the 2022 Fiscal Year which were uploaded to Andika’s YouTube account, Wednesday (30/3).
Initially, in the meeting, it was explained about the mechanism for accepting TNI soldiers, ranging from mental ideological tests, psychology, academics, physical fitness, to health. Andika in the meeting had time to question the description questions given to prospective TNI soldiers who took part in the selection.
“Okay number 4 what do you want to judge, if he has what offspring?” Ask Andika.
One of the members answered Andika.
“Perpetrators from the years 65-66,” said the member.
“That means failure, in what form, what is the legal basis?” Ask Andika.
“Permission, TAP MPRS Number 25,” said the member again.
Andika then asked the TNI member to state the contents of the MPRS TAP. He questioned what was prohibited under TAP MPRS 25 of 1966.
“What is prohibited in TAP MPRS number 25, one is Communism, the teachings of Communism, communist organizations and organizations” underbow communist year 65,” said the member.
“Are you sure about this? Look for it, open the internet now. I’ll tell you another thing, TAP MPRS number 25 of 66. To declare the PKI as a banned organization, no words underbow all kinds, declaring Communism, Leninism, Marxism as forbidden teachings. That’s the content,” said Andika.
For information, TAP MPRS 25 contains the disbandment of the PKI, the statement as a prohibited organization throughout Indonesia and the prohibition of any activities to spread or develop the ideas or teachings of Communists, Marxism, Leninism.
Andika said that prohibiting something must have a legal basis. He questioned the legal basis for the prohibition of the descendants of the PKI.
“This is a legal basis, it’s legal, but earlier what was banned was the PKI. The second was the teachings of communism, Marxism, Leninism. That’s what was written. What is the legal basis for this descendant, what was violated by him,” said Andika.
Then one of the meeting participants in the room said that nothing was violated.
“So don’t make it up. I am a person who obeys the law. If we prohibit it, make sure we have a legal basis. In my era, it doesn’t exist anymore, what descent, no. For what reason? I use a legal basis. Missing number 4,” he added. .
CNNIndonesia.com have contacted Andika and the Kapuspen TNI Major General Praantara Santosa to confirm this, but both have not responded to the short message until this news was written.
