The Ogooué Mining Company (COMILOG) in a press release alerted the public to the maneuvers of a gang of crooks who are trying to defraud job seekers in its name. These malicious individuals use a fake Facebook profile in the name of the company’s managing director, Leod Paul Batolo, to carry out their dirty work. “COMILOG draws the attention of Internet users to acts of usurpation of the identity of its Managing Director on Facebook,” warns the company, which indicates that the latter are communicating “supposed job offers in return for payment fees.” files, which is completely at odds with COMILOG practices.”
“The publications broken down or messages sent by this account cannot reiterate the personal or professional opinions and opinions of Mr. Leod Paul Batolo. Faced with this deplorable situation, COMILOG and its ADG decline any responsibility for this Facebook account which is obviously a scam,” underlines the press release. The company also says it reserves “the right to refer the matter to the competent judicial authorities” to denounce such acts.
