Comieco Paper Week 2024, Salerno capital of recycling

Starting on Monday 8th April Paper Week 2024the large collective training and information campaign on paper and cardboard and their recycling promoted by Comieco, the National Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of cellulose packaging, in collaboration with the Carta e Grafica Federation and Unirima and with the patronage of ANCI, the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, Utilitalia and Rai for Sustainability.

The city of Salernoelected this year “Capital of Paper and Cardboard Recycling”, is the protagonist of Paper Week 2024 with a special program organized by Comieco with the patronage of the Municipality of Salerno, Confindustria Salerno, Salerno Chamber of Commerce, Carisal Foundation, University of Salerno, in collaboration with Salerno Pulita, Salerno Letteratura, CNA Salerno.
Here are the initiatives scheduled for Monday 8 April.

Conference “The national paper and cardboard recycling industry: The potential of the South for an increasingly circular economy” 9.30 am – Salone dei Marmi of the Municipality of Salerno The fourth edition of Paper Week opens on the potential of the South for the further development of separate waste collection and recycling of paper and cardboard, also thanks to the projects co-financed by the PNRR. The Conference will be an opportunity to discuss the prospects of the supply chain, which has always been a model of circularity, also in light of the new PPWR packaging regulation.
