Comic revolution: Marvel and Disney catapult Duckburg into the multiverse!

Berlin (OTS) –

Spectacular chases, daring experiments, breathtaking action à la Marvel Comics for the first time in Walt Disney Funny Paperback (LTB). With the title “Uncle Dagobert and the Infinity Taler”, Egmont Ehapa Media is publishing an extraordinary comic sensation on November 19th.

LTB publisher Jörg Risken is fascinated:

“We are pleased to be able to announce great news with the current edition of Walt Disney Funny Paperback. In this edition we show the result of the creative collaboration between the legendary Marvel author Jason Aaron and the best Disney comic artists. This collaboration is unique to date further proof that we can always set new and surprising accents with our classic comic titles.”

The title story of LTB 591 “Uncle Scrooge and the Infinity Taler” was written by the popular Marvel author Jason Aaron. A nod to Carl Barks‘ “Christmas on Bear Mountain,” Aaron placed the classic Scrooge McDuck character in a multiverse of endless possibilities and dangers. Scrooge McDuck meets Scrooge McDuck, or rather several versions of himself from different parallel universes. The aim is to unite his treasure, the well-protected lucky ten, the number one, the Infinity Taler, with all the tens. It’s inevitable that the grumpiest Scrooge of all wants to unite all the tens in order to suppress his other Scrooge variants and become the richest of all the worlds. And then there’s Donald Duck…

For the graphic implementation of Jason Aaron’s adventure “Uncle Scrooge and the Infinity Taler”, the Marvel author called on some of the most talented Disney artists such as Paolo Mottura, Francesco D’Ippolito, Vitale Mangiatordi, Giada Perissinotto, Lucio Di Guiseppe and Arianna Consonni Duckburg brought into the multiverse. The cover was drawn by Lorenzo Pastrovicchio.

The funny paperback “Uncle Dagobert and the Infinity Taler” (D: EUR 7.99, A: EUR 8.50, SFR 14.20) is now also online in the Egmont Shop www.egmont-shop.de available. The multiversal LTB 591 guarantees true reading pleasure with 10 stories from the here and now.
