Comet C / 2020 F3 (NEOWISE) is a long-term comet, discovered in March 2020 (with the NEOWISE space telescope) It became visible to the naked eye in July 2020. It can be observed throughout the night from the territory of Poland.

Comet C / 2020 F3 (NEOWISE) – where to look?

Comets should now be looked for in the northwest and northern skies. With each day, the time in which we can observe the comet was getting longer (initially it was best visible only before sunrise). In the later part of July, to see it, you don’t have to get up late at night or in the morning, because it is visible all night. Unfortunately – its glow is falling every day, so it is worth hurrying.

Comet NEOWISE. How to watch, at what time?

In the first decade of July, the comet was clearly visible. In the second one, it was also possible to observe it with the naked eye. You will need an open area for observation. You will need binoculars for the search, but once you locate the comet, you will be able to see it without any instruments without any problems (a more skilled eye will also do without them when searching).
