Contract until 2027
Record champions Rapid Vienna announced the first new signing for the coming season: Hütteldorfer have signed Frenchman Fally Mayulu from the second division club Blau-Weiss Linz. He has scored eight goals in 20 games for the Upper Austrians this season. Rapid was able to sign the 20-year-old free of charge, his working paper in Linz expires at the end of the season. In Vienna, the former Wolfsburg player received a contract until 2027.
Managing Director Markuskatzer said of the new signing: “We have agreed to work with the young and highly talented striker Fally Mayulu to start with the preparation for the 2023/24 season. He has a contract with us for four seasons, i.e. until the summer of 2027. Mayulu is an exciting player with great potential. He is technically excellently trained, good at finishing shots and extremely agile, and also good for headed goals at any time due to his size alone. We reached an agreement a few days ago, but out of respect for my colleague Tino Wawra, I only wanted to give an official confirmation after a personal conversation with him.”
SK Rapid is pleased to announce the first commitment for the coming season at the beginning of March!
