Clown and comedian Viggo Venn gets goosebumps from the unexpected.

– I’m not that spiritual, but I’m very sensitive to when good things happen that can’t be predicted, for example when I ran sound on the show of Julia Masli, my girlfriend, who is also a comedian. It was characterized by improvisation and what the audience gives, where Julia asks what kind of problems they have and spins about it. This was also the first time our mothers met, and we’ve been together for eight years, so it was a small event. A bit into the show, an audience member tells us that he has lost contact with his mother. “OK, we’ll call her now,” says Julia, and it’s just the nicest conversation. She said that she lost her entire identity when she became a mother, but also that it was the best thing in her life. She started crying on the phone, her son started crying sitting in the hall, and then everyone cried. Then Julia told me that it was the first time our mothers had met, that they were sitting there together. It got even more moving and my contact lens fell out from all the tears.
