Comedian Anne-Kat. Hærland Allowed to Smoke on “Farmen kjendis” TV Show

Earlier this week, it became known that comedian and TV profile, Anne-Kat. Hærland is one of the participants in next year’s “Farmen kendis” on TV 2.

The 12 brand new participants have already traveled 100 years back in time, and over the next few weeks will fight for their lives on Li farm in Stange municipality.

Nettavisen met the fresh “Farmen kjendis” participants just a couple of days after they had established themselves on the farm, and with muck under their nails and a knife in their belt, the former “New to New” profile really seemed to be in his ace at Li farm.

Nevertheless, there was one detail about the popular comedian that attracted attention.

– Not a smoking cessation program

Between Hærland’s fingers, the smoke also lay well planted. The 51-year-old tells Nettavisen that it will be doing it for quite some time to come, also on “Farmen kjendis”.

– I was allowed to bring cigarettes with me. The cigarettes existed in 1924, so there wasn’t much to discuss, says Hærland to Nettavisen.

The comedian says that there was never a question from her side about whether or not the smoke should be included in the TV recording.

– It was never something like “I have to bring it with me or I won’t come”. I just said that I smoke, and I have no intention of giving up, she says and continues:

– This is primarily a TV program where we will run a farm, not a smoking cessation programme. Then it will be extremely silly to have to do smoking cessation in this program, because I have no desire to do smoking cessation. They were allowed to take me in as a cigarette smoker, or they were allowed to just screw it up.

Won’t stop

Because despite all the smoking according to Health Norway poses a health risk, Hærland does not have a plan to stop smoking any time soon.

– No, I have no plans for that, and am betting that the harmful effects of smoking will have been cured within a few years, she says with a laugh and adds:

– Someone has to think about the poor tobacco farmers, technology can also save me.

Opposite The daily newspaper confirms the press officer for “Farmen kjendis” on TV 2, Håvard Solem, that cigarettes will not be in short supply on the farm.

– We have given permission for this this time, since there was a need from some of the participants, states Solem.

Anne-Kat. However, Hærland is not the next “Farmen kendis” participant who has received something extra during recording. Participant Unni Askeland also attracted attention. See why in the video below:

No plan on smuggling

The “Farmen kjendis” recording started at Li gård last week, and with the pack of cigarettes well placed in her trouser pocket, Hærland says that she is very much looking forward to the coming weeks.

But even though she has been given permission to bring the ‘good’ cigarettes, she has no plans to smuggle in any other goods to the farm.

– Then I feel that I am destroying myself. I want to try to live like it is here, even though I really want chocolate, for example. I’d rather buy that when I get home, also enjoy the days I have here, states Hærland to Nettavisen.

“Farmen kendis” is currently being recorded, but will not appear on the screen until next year.
