The unique concert of the year for Bulgaria is coming up on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in Burgas. NHC will perform on stage at the Culture House one of the best musicians from the world classical scene – pianist Donka Angcheva and violinist Lidia Baich.

The two gifted ladies have been performing since a young age, have had stunning careers and are a true sensation everywhere. They perform with the best conductors and orchestras and have been awarded many times. Their names alone are extremely attractive to demanding audiences around the world, who immediately fill the halls for them, because they associate them with magnificent concerts, a joy for any connoisseur of magnificent music.
For her achievements in the field of “Art and Culture”, a few days ago the Bulgarian Donka Angcheva was awarded Austria’s “Woman of the Year” by the Look business awards. In addition to being a virtuoso pianist, the gifted lady, part of the super-prestigious Bösendorfer Artist selection, is a wife, mother of two and an entrepreneur, creator of the Die Kunst in Österreich lebt weiter (“Art in Austria lives on”) initiative, which gave life to the musical scene during the stasis and continues to be very popular today.
Lidia Baič, for her part, has played all over the world with the best symphonies, gives concerts with great opera singers and works with various associations and foundations to encourage young musicians and helps establish scholarships to support them. All this while also being a professor at the Vienna University of Music and Art. Plays a violin made by Jean Baptiste Vijom in 1860.
At their joint concert in Burgas Fusion Passion, the two wonderful performers will present to the audience performances of works by the Norwegian composer, pianist and conductor Edvard Grieg; of Austrian composer and one of the most remarkable violinists of the 20th century Friedrich-Max “Fritz” Kreisler and of Astor Piazzolla, known to the public as “El Gran Ástor” or the Great Astor – the man who brought the tango to the concert and opera stage in Argentina.
