Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Indonesia International Motor Show 2022 automotive exhibition is certain to be back this year, on February 17 to 27 to be exact. President Director of Dyandra Promosindo Hendra Noor Saleh hopes that on that date there will be no extraordinary circumstances due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“There are many who are waiting for this event, especially since there are more participants who have registered in 2021 and almost the same as 2019,” said Hendra during a press conference in Jakarta, Friday (17/1/2022).
This year, according to Hendra, in addition to regular participants such as Toyota, Honda, and Mitsubishi, IIMS will again present “The Lost Child” namely Suzuki and Hyundai.
The four-wheel brands that will participate in IIMS 2022 include BMW, Brand X, Chery, Honda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Toyota, and Wuling. Then there will also be a general importer, Prestige Motorcars which will feature the Ehang electric flying taxi and a number of Tesla electric cars.
Then there are several motorcycle brands such as Astra Honda Motor (AHM), Benelli-Keeway, Kawasaki, and Yamaha. In this exhibition, a local electric motorcycle manufacturer, Electric Cart (Gelis) will also display its line-up of electric vehicles.

As for accessory and aftermarket brands, IIMS will present a number of brands under the auspices of the Indonesian Car Accessories Entrepreneurs Association (PAHAMI), namely AR Evolution, Arvia, Asuka, Black Rhino, Blackvue, DNY, Dorfree, Ferrox, Hurricane, JSL, Motherpolis, MS , Prime, Savini, Nine, SS, Tein, THS, Venom, Wizzard Fire, Work Wheels, and Zen Wheels.
Meanwhile, aftermarket brands that are confirmed to participate in IIMS 2022 are American Tool, American Secure, Auto Models, Autovision, Bay Fresh, Baze, Bowin, Deride, Glade, Grex, KIT Grand Prix, Komine, Maxpower, Maxpro, Nolan, Servvo, Shoei , Solargard, V-Kool Indonesia, Vrossi, X-lite, and Yuasa Battery.
Rudy MF, Project Manager of IIMS said that apart from the list, there are still many participants who are still in the exploratory stage and do not want to be disclosed. Not only that, Rudy also revealed that there will be interesting collaborations with the Mandalika GP Series which will also be present at IIMS 2022.
