The fight took place on the evening of April 12, at about 23.00. As noted by Baza, Bitarov beat Eidelstein, inflicting at least four blows to the head.

Life reports that the reason for the conflict was that Zhirinovsky’s son decided to inquire about the fate of Vyacheslav Bitarov, who recently resigned from the post of head of North Ossetia. After that, a fight ensued. Eidelstein told the police that he now feared for his life, and therefore wrote a statement and removed the beatings.
