A memorial in the living room for the martyrs of Israel’s systems: this Wednesday there will be a special meeting with the mother of Yonatan Malka, the soldier from the Israel Defense Forces who fell in the Iron Swords War

Residents of the city are invited to a personal conversation with Mrs. Ronit Malka, the mother of Yonatan Malka the 14th, who was killed during fighting in Khan Yunis at the beginning of last December. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 8, at 8:30 p.m., at the address – Beit Rivka, 1 HaTorah Go’alat St. Neve Ze’ev for free registration – https://did.li/feyrl

Maj. Gen. Yonatan Malka, the late soldier of the Armored Brigade, was 23 years old at the time of his death. Jonathan left behind five siblings – four sons and a daughter and two parents. Yonatan was part of a trio that was born at the same time and attended school together – two sons and a daughter and was the son of Moshe and Ronit, an educator and a long-time administrator at Mikif H’e High School in Be’er Sheva.

Jonathan was released from service about two months before his death and suffered an injury to his leg, when despite the injury, Jonathan insisted on returning to combat while having to deal with a lot of bureaucracy, which in the end managed to convince the army to allow him to return and fight.
