This weekend, the Val-Marie room concentrates a nice panel of what twenty local producers from Lorraine, but also from other French regions, do best. Orchestrated by the Saint-Urbain de Thionville brotherhood, the meeting brings together know-how much appreciated by visitors over the years, which also highlight Champagne-Ardenne, Corsica, Greece and Crete, regions of which fell in love the couple Demangeat, a faithful of the event, too.
For twenty years, the family and its shop in Metz have been spoiling lovers of grand cru olive oils, with a unique flavor drawn from ancestral olive trees, spared by intense exploitation.

Tastings and natural products
The neighbors of Jean-Jacques and his wife do not have to be ashamed of their work. To have tasted it, we think of Julien Dujardin, with his Corsican cheeses and charcuterie, sold in Luxembourg near our home. Special mention to Thierry Caboz and Jean-Marie Leisen, from Domaine du Stromberg, and their pinot noir vinified in white, a novelty among others. A little further from home, in Champagne-Ardenne, the bottles of champagne available in six versions, from the house Sébastien Gorgery, compete in singularity, just to delight the taste buds. And Haute-Kontz honeys, Vosges cured meats, artisanal fruit juices and other Papyllon-stamped Sierck beers bring an additional touch to this market of good things that only offers natural products.
For those who are still hesitant, the welcome is friendly, with tastings. And the smiles are on everyone’s lips.
