Dark chocolate is filled with flavanols, iron, zinc, copper, magnesium and phosphorus, according to Harvard University. The ideal percentage of dark chocolate that can be chosen is 70% or higher because it contains the largest percentage of flavanols. However, one must be careful that bitterness increases with a high percentage of flavanols, but this obstacle can be overcome by consuming it with Greek yogurt and fruit.
