The events date back to May 2018, when the Local Police entered the Works Command, on Avenida del Metrosidero, to take possession of a space that had been ‘squatted’ since November 2016 by an anarchist collective that baptized the place as ‘To Insoumise’.

After a peaceful entrance, dozens of young people began to gather in the place, summoned through social networks, which caused incidents with the Local police, which later required the intervention of the National Police. Several officers were injured.

After invading the road and insulting the policemen, the concentrates managed to advance, pushing the agents, until they passed the entrance door. Several policemen were kicked and stomped on the ground until they managed to regain control of the Works Command, always according to the account of the events made by the judge who investigated the case.

During the afternoon, the number of concentrates increased, up to 300, and the insults, shoving and threats to the police continued. “I know you from Calle Real, I’m going to shoot you from behind and I’m going to kill you,” one of the protesters told a police officer, according to the car.

Attack on the Atlantic Tide headquarters

Days later, a group of people they attacked the headquarters of Atlantic Tide in retaliation for the actions of the local government, according to the instructor. It indicates that they acted in concert, they were hooded, with maces, hammers and paving stones, with the intention of causing damage to the headquarters of the political formation.

An appeal may be filed against the order that ends the investigation. The judge orders in it that the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the private accusations be transferred so that within ten days they request the opening of an oral trial by formulating an accusation document or, where appropriate, the dismissal of the case. Exceptionally, they may also request the practice of complementary procedures.
