I arm myself with tough and indifferent. I talk lightly about my illness. When it stops working, disappear silently to my bed. Laugh off the chuffing if I get out of breath while on the phone. Don’t bother anyone. Do not cause unrest. A bit like a cat who feels bad and crawls out under the bushes. Not to spare my environment, I feel the best about it myself. Weird person, I know.
