Supermarket chain Colruyt launches ‘Deals!’, An online promotional platform where customers can purchase large volumes at great discounts. In this way Colruyt wants to attract promotional hunters, who are currently mainly active on foreign web shops.

On ‘Deals!’ For example, customers will be able to purchase eight packs of dishwasher tablets at a great discount. Dishwasher tablets are a typical product for price-sensitive consumers, who often charge per tablet. Colruyt therefore listened to Facebook groups to find out exactly how such ‘deal hunters’ work.
The online promotional platform will therefore mainly offer household and maintenance products, as well as personal care products. Think of detergents, toothpaste, razor blades and the like. No food will be offered.
The intention is to offer a dozen new volume promos every week. These are premium brands, they work with the ‘gone is gone’ principle and the offer is limited to one deal per customer. It is therefore not the intention that night shops and buyers should buy everything.
“Deals!” will be operated by Collect & Go, the group’s online shopping service. The purchases are delivered at home.
