The four-day festival will open its doors on Wednesday, July 13, for the nineteenth time.

“Tickets are still available, so people don’t have to worry about not getting in. And those who have already bought tickets in 2020 and 2021 as well. It’s enough if they come with these old tickets and they’ll be admitted,” Jiří Sedlák told Práva on Monday on behalf of the festival organizers.

Preparations for the launch of the COO are now at their peak. The area caters for five thousand people, and 240 stands will be available to visitors.
–
“People can pay in cash or cashless in them. There will be card payments at hundreds of places,” Sedlák pointed out, adding that the weather is also favorable for the 19th edition.

The richest vintage
“We can promise the best vintage in history. Not only thanks to the program of leading world stars, but mainly thanks to the fact that it will be the first full-fledged year after the coronavirus pandemic.
–
Getting together with our fans and enjoying live music and culture after a long time cannot be replaced by anything. So we promise that the atmosphere will be unrepeatable,” said festival director Zlata Holušová.

The festival will be opened on Wednesday by Circus La Putyka with students of the Kyiv Academy of Theater and Circus Arts.
–
Its Saturday ending will also be unique, when there will be a charity concert by the Ukrainian-Canadian band Balaklava Blues with the Karvina children’s choir Permoník.
–
Other world stars of the festival are The Killers, Twenty One Pilots, singer LP, Franz Ferdinand and dozens of others.
–
This year too, there will be a theater scene, workshops, art installations and the Meltingpot international forum, where over 200 speakers from all over the world will arrive.
–
Help for autistic and deaf people
For the 50th time, the festival will also be barrier-free. This year, it will once again offer a number of benefits and services to visitors with disabilities.
–
The novelty is that selected songs of the main stars will be interpreted into sign language for the deaf, as well as a service for people with autism who will be able to order a specially trained assistant free of charge.
–
Of course, there will also be festival pubs, bars, wine bars and cafes.
–
The Radegast Brewery has a new Radegast Pub with glass taps, and has also prepared 300 taps at 35 locations on the premises. In addition, the brewery will offer a special zone on how to save water.
