A man who was smoking on a plane at Eindhoven Airport made it very colorful on Wednesday. He threatened the cabin crew and lit another cigarette in a Marechaussee car. Later he also peed in his cell.
The Marechaussee took action after the captain of an aircraft at Eindhoven Airport reported that two people had smoked in the aircraft. The captain has filed a report against both passengers. It concerned a flight from Marrakesh to Eindhoven.
Pee in cell
One of the two passengers subsequently accepted a settlement proposal. The other passenger, a man, on the other hand, did not cooperate and threatened the cabin crew.
The man was subsequently arrested, but did not give up smoking. “During the transport of the passenger to the brigade, he also lit a cigarette in our service vehicle. He also urinated in his cell afterwards,” the Marechaussee writes in a statement.
A report of vandalism has been filed for this. The investigation into the second passenger is still ongoing.
