Liverpool vs Chelsea in the third week of the 2021/2022 Premier League ended without a winner. Colored a red card for the Blues, the match ended with the score 1-1.

The penalty was then taken by Mohamed Salah, and could beat Mendy. Score 1-1 closed the first half.

The second half began, Chelsea replaced two players. Kai Havertz was replaced by Mateo Kovacic, and N’Golo Kante was replaced by Thiago Silva.

In the second half, Liverpool appeared dominant thanks to the superior number of players. Many chances were created, but no goals were created.

In the 51st minute, Diogo Jota’s header directed the ball over the Chelsea goal. Meanwhile, a minute later, Van Dijk’s kick from outside the penalty box could also be silenced by Mendy.

Liverpool got another chance in the 59th minute. This time Fabinho tried his luck, firing a shot from outside the box. However, Mendy can suppress the lag again.

Chelsea, who can only build the occasional counter-attack, can also still be troublesome. In the 64th minute, Lukaku had a chance to score, but his shot was blocked by Joel Matip in front of the Liverpool goal.
