The number of people between 20 and 40 years old who develop colorectal cancer is increasing slightly throughout the western world. Evert Winkelmans (36) from Mechelen, known as the presenter of the popular football podcast MidMid, was diagnosed when he was 31. “I had been ignoring symptoms for years then,” he says. “By telling my story, I hope that other people with complaints will be alert enough.”
