Colorado is considered one of the safest states in the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a WalletHub study recently published.

Exactly, the so-called “centennial state” is in the 8th place of the 50 states of the country and the District of Columbia.

It is second only to Alaska and Vermont.

And why is Colorado ranked so high? The main reasons are the low mortality rate, as it is ranked 6th nationwide, and the high vaccination rate against COVID-19 (12th).

As of this Tuesday, state health authorities have reported 386,285 cases and 5,505 deaths from COVID-19. A total of 381,402 have received at least the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine and 89,881 have received the second.
