DENVER, Colorado – The Colorado dentist accused of killing his wife may have investigated how to poison her and get away with it, searching the internet for questions that could complicate his case.
As reported The Associated Press (AP), investigators say James Craig was having an affair when he searched online for answers to questions like, “Can arsenic be detected at autopsy?”
Also would have searched: “How to make murder look like a heart attack?”.
The AP added that prosecutors presented their evidence against Craig on Wednesday, with the goal of showing before a judge that the defendant should be found guilty of the first-degree murder of Angela Craig in March.
Police believe James Craig, 45, mixed arsenic and cyanide into his wife’s protein shakes so he could start a relationship with another woman, according to court documents. He has not yet been asked to plead guilty to the charge, the news agency said.
