Guilt for 22 of the 23 so-called “clients” at the dates of the horror of the 12-year-old from Colonos was requested by the head prosecutor of the Joint Jury Court, where the tragic case of the sexual abuse of a minor is tried behind closed doors. Earlier, he recommended the acquittal of the main defendant for the crime of pimping Ilias Michou, while for the same crime he requested the guilt of the 12-year-old’s mother and “Michal”.
In particular and according to information as the trial is being conducted behind closed doors, the public prosecutor recommended to the court the guilt of 22 of the total 23 defendants for sexual acts with the minor who had completed her 12th birthday, for a fee.
The public prosecutor proposed otherwise for one of the defendants, of Pakistani origin, and asked for his exemption from the crime in question due to doubts.
Michos is out of pimping
The district attorney, referring during her speech to the previous hearing, repeated several times that the 12-year-old victim has testified the truth. In particular, he is reported to have said: “the child is telling the truth” in his statements.
However, in practice, this belief of the prosecutor is not proven as, earlier today, she requested the guilt of the mother of the 12-year-old for the offenses of pimping and pornography of a minor, a conclusion that, if verified, is completely inconsistent with the testimony of the minor.
And this is because the 12-year-old claims from the first moment and has never denied it in any of the statements she has given so far, that her mother knew nothing and had no part in what was happening to the detriment of her daughter.
On the contrary, the prosecutor, from the hearing process and the evidence of the case file, was convinced that the accused mother was the person who obtained the profits from her daughter’s prostitution.
Following this assessment, a little earlier, the public prosecutor, buying, had requested the acquittal of Ilias Michos for pimping, a central defendant in the case.
In particular, she is reported to have claimed during her trial that Elias Michos facilitated the minor’s sexual relations with the “clients” without himself receiving any financial benefit from this behavior.
The prosecutor’s judgment was the opposite with regard to the so-called “Michalis”, also the main accused in the pimping ring against the 12-year-old girl, pleading guilty to this crime, since as the prosecutor allegedly explained before the court, he accompanied the minor to ” horror dates’ with ‘clients’ for financial gain.
The trial will continue on Friday with the purchase of lawyers and the verdict of the Mixed Jury Court of Athens is awaited with particular interest.
