For the first time, six young female footballers from USC have returned to 6th grade in the new football class of college voltaire.
Nine female soccer players from USC returned to 6th grade at the Voltaire college “football class”. It’s a first. They belong to the squad of 33 young U13 players. Their study time is arranged to be compatible with the practice of the chosen sport. On Tuesday and Thursday they have a slot in their schedule, devoted to their training. They are then taken care of by the club’s educators who travel from college to stadium and from stadium to college. “This experience, concluded by an agreement between the college and the club, is limited this year to the 6th. It should, if it is considered positive, then continue in the 5th, 4th”, hopes Charlène Sorribas, head of women’s football at the ‘USC and responsible for the administrative and sporting follow-up of the project. This great experience is due to the adherence to the project of Karine Tortorici, principal of the college without whom nothing was possible and to the tenacity of those in charge of women’s football. The Columérin football club, it is well known, has the DNA of training. Cédric Aït-Ali, Gilles Sère, Mohamed Aït-Ali and Charlène Sorribas worked to offer the girls, and the club, a real project, allowing progress and the construction of an ambitious women’s section, capable of competing with the best. It got off to a good start. The club is equipping itself with the means for a new and great adventure.
