The consumer defense association Orgeco 31 has just added a new string to its bow with the obtaining of the PCB label (Point Conseil Budget) which has just been awarded to it by the regional directorate for the Economy, Employment, Labor and Occitanie Solidarity (Dreets).
“We offer a free service of advice, support or orientation in budgetary matters, indicates Nathalie Bathelier, referent for the labeling of Orgeco 31. Anyone in financial difficulty can therefore contact us and make an appointment. We l We will welcome you in room n°3 of the Place du Cantal, to take stock of her resources, expenses, debts and of course, advise her on the management of her budget. We also offer, free of charge, management support or budgetary orientation. Our main mission is to prevent over-indebtedness. But, if necessary, we will also help a person to file a file with a departmental commission for over-indebtedness of individuals, and we will then accompany him throughout the procedure ” .
To study the PCB files and support people in their approach, Orgeco 31 has set up a team made up of Nathalie Bathelier, referent, and three volunteers. All have received training from the Banque de France and will share the welcome and support of the public.
It takes about 1 hour for the first appointment, which is a moment of listening, of getting to know the file, in a climate of mutual trust. Then, everyone decides on the frequency of their appointments, which can be monthly or closer together.
“We deliver information that many do not know, help to put together files to benefit from certain aid, suggest the steps that can be useful. We can also solicit other partners to complete our actions”, Nathalie further underlines.
The association can process files from Columérins and those from neighboring municipalities. The service is totally free and does not require an Orgeco membership.
