A satisfaction for the artistic swimming club, Colomiers being a reference in Occitania as on the national territory.
Before going to rub shoulders with the national elite, this team will participate from April 1 to 3 in the French Open organized from the Georges-Vallerey swimming pool in Paris. A competition that allows the best French teams to compete against swimmers of international level and to be evaluated by a jury from the four corners of the globe.
“Our girls train as a team about a dozen hours a week to prepare for this competition. A preparation that has been quite disrupted since the start of the year by Covid, with frequent stops to isolate themselves. The context is not the most favorable but our girls are determined, warns Maeva Morineau. The 205 members of the club will be behind their team, rejoices Claire Cornu, president of the USC artistic swimming. That they have fun together and that they be proud of all the progress made so far”. For some of them, it will be their last moments in the junior category.
