Thursday, June 2, the Terminus opens its doors at 7 p.m. and will welcome the group “Les Klez” on stage from 7:30 p.m.
Their name comes from their music, the klezmer, an instrumental music formerly practiced in the Jewish communities of Eastern Europe during festivals. In contact with Slavic, Gypsy, Greek, Oriental musicians and, later, with jazz, klezmer acquired a diversity and a characteristic sound which today earned it instant recognition and appreciation. Alternately joyful, rhythmic or melancholy, it mixes singing with percussion, clarinet, guitar, violin…
An extraordinary evening, music to discover.
Location: 6 allée de Cerdagne (park in rue des Sports).
