Despite the constraints linked to the health crisis, the city has had a very lively summer. Stays, outings, swimming, cultural workshops and multiple activities took place throughout the summer season at the initiative of the town hall.
– Jean-Vauchère nautical area: 40,000 entries were recorded over two months. The children’s swimming courses were all sold out, with 136 registered. The number of aquagym lessons has been increased with a total of 2,250 registrants.
– Henri-Molina white pavilion: more than 10,000 admissions were recorded for more than 30,000 loans.
– Citizens’ houses: they welcomed nearly 1,000 people, including 300 supported by counselors in social and family economy.
– Outings: 259 people took part in the outings offered (Narbonne plage, Saint-Pierre, Rocamadour, Gouffre de Padirac, Pic du Midi, Aqualand, etc.).
– Municipal sports and artistic initiation school: 240 young people have registered for the Emisa activities offered in the Citizens’ Houses.
Summer villages: more than 500 people took part in the Tuesday summer activities in different neighborhoods.
Cine under the stars: more than 1,100 cinephiles attended the free outdoor screenings organized on Tuesdays following the Summer Villages.
Stays: 75 children benefited from a summer stay in Belcaire, in the Aude (3 stays of 25 children), in particular within the framework of the national system of “Colos apprentenantes”.
