As their hosts were unable to line up three consecutive passes and equally unable to frame two strikes ideally placed, we thought that the tactic was the right one. Returning from the locker room, Montpellier played fairer but without being more effective in front. As time slowly brought three points to improve the great victory at Les Herbiers, a distant free kick hit high and far ended in the opposite corner of advanced Goryl. A small point that may make the difference in the end.
