Saturday, June 18 at 8:30 p.m., the Rhythm’n Taps section of Club Loisirs Léo-Lagrange-de-Colomiers will end the season with its tap dance show at Hall Comminges.
Fanny Raynaud, teacher, and her child and adult students, will present “Tonight we play!” on the theme of Monopoly Junior.
“Cousu main” in every sense of the word, because entirely designed, choreographed and produced within the section, is a show that will be presented the day before, at several schools. “We have been offering school matinees for many years to establishments in Colomiers and the surrounding area”, specifies Fanny, delighted to reconnect with this tradition.
2,000 child spectators
“This year, we will receive around 2,000 children from schools in Colomiers, Toulouse, La-Salvetat-Saint-Gilles, Plaisance-du-Touch, etc. They will have the first of the show, in a shortened version of 40 minutes. two years of cuts linked to the Covid, the schools were quickly sold out for the four performances of this day.
On Saturday evening, the full version will be open to everyone. All the students of the section will be on stage, accompanied by volunteer extras, families and friends who wanted to actively participate in this celebration of tap dancing, which has returned after a long period of forced rest.
Prices: normal, €12, reduced price, €8 (for children aged three to twelve).
The section is also preparing for its return, and will be present at the Forum des Associations in September, at Hall Comminges. It offers seven courses of all levels, intended for children from the age of four, and for adults.
Trial classes will be possible at the start of the school year in September, at the Louis-Macabiau room at 29, chemin de la Nasque in Colomiers, En Jacca district.
