Colomiers. Reunion of independent brewers from Occitanie

A few days ago, a nice meeting brought together at the Friendly Auberge around thirty independent brewers who had thus responded to the invitation of Eric Bille, president of the association of independent brewers from Occitanie (BRIO).

“I am one of the founders of BRIO, which we created 5 years ago, he specifies. Our primary objective is to unite independent beer players in Occitania in order to exchange and promote the brewing profession. and the beer produced in our region.Every three months, we meet for a day at a different brewer, and each year, we meet for a “technical day” with external speakers, including conferences followed by exchanges. BRIO currently brings together 35 brewers out of the approximately 220 independent brewers in Occitanie. Today, almost all of them participate in our columérine “Technical Day 2022″, i.e. around fifty people, some of whom come from the Hautes Pyrérénes, Lot, etc., most of them having come together: the analysis laboratory Biocéane (from Nantes), and the yeast manufacturer Lallemand (a world leader in the development, production and marketing of e yeasts, bacteria and derived ingredients) are our guests. This type of event already allows us to find ourselves, but also to make ourselves known: we introduce ourselves, we explain our projects, our wishes. This day was very rich. I’m really delighted, because we’re all passionate about it!”
