Saturday afternoon, March 26, the Léo-Lagrange leisure club (CLLL) in Colomiers will celebrate its 60th anniversary at the Pavillon Blanc Henri-Molina. The event scheduled for last December had already had to be postponed due to the pandemic. Because it was in February 1960 that the club was created by Marius Demblans, Columérin municipal councilor, under the name “Le foyer Léo-Lagrange”. Its name pays homage to the under-secretary of state for sports and the organization of leisure activities, who carried out an ardent youth policy within the Popular Front government.
This is how, originally, in 1960, its entirely free leisure offer was aimed at young people. Today, he still valiantly carries his values of solidarity, sharing and tolerance. No less than twenty-eight sections offer artistic, cultural and sporting activities. The CLLL has more than 2,000 members of all ages, including a hundred volunteer actors, and also professional speakers.
An afternoon to discover CLLL
