You have just scored your first try with Colomiers. In addition, you chained four games in a row, which had not happened since last year. How do you feel ?
It’s good, I’m happy. I had a complicated start to the season with a dislocated shoulder. On the contacts, on the duel game it was quite painful. Since then, I have come back well because I have regained confidence and physically, I am at 100%. I’m very happy to string together the matches because I’m really having fun on the pitch.
How do you judge your victory in Angoulême?
Our performance was not flamboyant but we are winning. And once again, the state of mind was remarkable. We will seek this victory on the wire. We showed a lot of solidarity. This victory over the gong does us the greatest good.

It wasn’t a hold-up but still a trap match because it was about their survival. They had presented this meeting as the turning point of their season in the event of defeat. Inevitably, it is a match that they had to win. There was still intensity. It had to be won! It’s always good to win a match like this.

We know the historic rivalry that continues between the two clubs. Inevitably, we were very disappointed because our copy was very mediocre. In conquest, we had been catastrophic with only 30% success in touch… Out of there, we had questioned everything a bit. Since then, we have put our ideas back together and we have to try to ride this positive wave. It’s important to us to go get something there.

It’s a bit cliché but our main opponent this season is us. We saw it every time with every defeat, it’s because we weren’t good. We focus more on ourselves and less on what is being done in front of us.
