On Friday 30 December, the Break’in School association returns to the Salle Gascogne to organize its now traditional 100% hip-hop New Year’s Eve there… A tradition unfortunately interrupted, for two years, due to the Covid crisis.
It is therefore with particular joy that this unmissable family, artistic, sporting and festive event will once again welcome the best French dancers, at the dawn of the new year. “We have invited the highest level since the first edition of Happy New Break,” recalls Abdel Chouari, director of the dance school Break’in School, originally from Columérin, who has always wanted to make the heart of his city the rhythm of the hip- hop: fully successful bet with, in the spring, the legendary Nothing2Looz world battle at Hall Comminges, and at the end of the year, this Happy New Break evening which closes a year of high-level performances of Break’ in School, made in Occitania and not only!
Thus, on Saturday, the doors of the Gascogne room will open at 7.30 pm for a show that will start at 8.30 pm On the program, a Battle of hip-hop dances “all styles” (5VS5) and a battle of breakdance (3VS3) where the heavyweights of French hip-hop will meet, as well as a Beatbox Battle where four beat boxers will go head-to-head.
Several beatbox and dance shows will be interspersed between these competitions, in particular those of the Motion Lab Studio in Toulouse and the Kids of Break’In School, particularly brilliant this year, and which we will talk about in a future edition.
Obviously the DJ of the evening guarantees atmosphere and dancing for everyone, until the end of the evening!
