US Colomiers swimming sportive organized its club party on Saturday June 11 at the Jean Vauchère nautical area, the last of which took place in March 2020 accompanied by the first Challenge Jean-Jacques-Cazeneuve, named after its oldest swimmer, multiple times champion of France and still licensed from the top of his 88 springs.
After a morning dedicated to a fun competition where the initiation, progression, pre-competition and adapted sport groups competed in a good mood, a picnic break well appreciated by all preceded the Cazeneuve challenge in the afternoon. For this first, intergenerational relays clashed with the constitution of teams mixing the groups future competition, hopes 1 and 2, young competition, junior competition, colleges and high schools, team 1 and finally the masters. About twenty volunteers were mobilized alongside the leaders and coaches of the club, all in a good communicative mood.
“We are happy to have been able to share these moments of club life, in the company of all our vital forces, and a few guests who have done us the honor of returning for this day of sharing. Thank you to all our swimmers and our swimmers for having lent themselves to the game, the youngest as well as the oldest, rejoices Cédric Dullier, president of the club. We are coming out of a complicated period, despite everything, our club is still a supplier of talents, eight of between them shone at the end of 2021”.
With the reform of the French swimming championships, new deadlines are already pointing the tip of their nose for some swimmers. Proof that US Colomiers swimming sportive always manages to keep its objectives in sight, between training and performance.
