Saturday, January 14, the Véo Grand Central cinema offers a special, scientific and documented evening, around unidentified aerospace phenomena.
Screened in theaters at 5.45 p.m., Steven Spielberg’s cult film, “Encounters of the 3rd Kind”, will illustrate the theme of this evening.
This will be followed, from 8:10 p.m. to 9:10 p.m., by a conference led by Jean-Jacques Velasco, who for 23 years headed the Group for studies and information on unidentified aerospace phenomena (Geipan), a service of the National Center for space studies (Cnes) which collects, analyzes data, informs the public about them.
From 9:10 p.m., Jean-Jacques Velasco will discuss with the public over a snack.
Jean-Jacques Velasco specifies: “Today, the news and the voluntary silence that I have observed since the time when I ceased my official functions allow me to express myself publicly. I will express, more and as much as a citizen, a point of view and a reflection on this subject which has a societal impact of the very first order”.
