Tuesday August 10 at 9 pm, the “Ciné sous les étoiles” takes place at Place du Val d’Aran. The film “Hors Norms”, by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, will be screened there at 9 pm.
Vincent Cassel and Reda Kateb are the main performers of this humanist masterpiece, which pays tribute to the struggle of women and men who are committed to the service of people with autism, whose disorders are so serious that no institution can. / wants to welcome them.
Bruno and Malik have lived for 20 years in a world apart, that of children and adolescents with autism. Within their two respective associations, they train young people from difficult neighborhoods to supervise these cases qualified as “hyper complex”.
Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, directors of “Intouchables”, succeed in their bet: to make a film on disability, without ever succumbing to unhealthy voyeurism or demagoguery, and full of humor. The lack of resources, the weight of administrative and regulatory standards, the society which is not ready to accept these “non-standards”, are all brakes on the fierce energy of specialized educators.
Non-professional actors, including people themselves with disabilities, respond to the “headliners”.
This dramatic comedy, presented out of competition at the closing of the Cannes Film Festival 2019, received the Audience Award at the 2019 San Sebastian International Film Festival.
