Théo, Anis and Robin are the co-organizers of this tennis week, and the latter presents us how the club has prepared to welcome all the world’s top tennis players of tomorrow.
“We had to deal with a very strict imposed protocol, more framed than government recommendations, which was not always easy to implement. We have 6 main areas to satisfy players: a Reception / Bar / Catering area , one dedicated to transport and logistics, one for the maintenance of clay courts requires, a practice pole to organize training and warm-ups, another reserved for stringing with one of our club coaches, and finally a communication pole for disseminate as much information as possible live on our social networks “.
During these 8 days, no less than 45 volunteers take turns according to their availability and their affections. The tournament can also count on official referees, a sports management, a doctor and a physiotherapist available to the players. Yann is one of these volunteers and confirms that “without a volunteer, there would be no tournament. I made myself available for 5 days, and I do not regret because there is a good atmosphere and conviviality”.
Louca Bertone, 17, from the Académie French Touch d’Agde, confirms that he appreciates having “a high level organization. Everything is running smoothly and we, the players, are very well supported in beautiful infrastructures”.
