Colomiers Bachelors in French and German

Last Tuesday, a page was turned at the Lycée International Victor Hugo. Indeed, the baccalaureate holders of the Abibac section (contraction of Abitur, the German baccalaureate, and baccalaureate) received their diploma during a moving ceremony.

Eighteen students made up the final class of the Franco-German binational section. It is in the amphitheater of the establishment, surrounded by their loved ones, that they came to recover the sesame leading them from now on to adult life.

Carsten Boeckl, president of the jury and headmaster at Nuremberg alongside Laure Mouden, headmaster of the establishment, congratulated the young graduates “Obtaining this exam is a real asset, a showcase for the school and German culture. It is the reward of considerable efforts and also the beginning of a new multicultural journey.”

“I wanted this baccalaureate in order to diversify my culture and give me more possibilities in my university studies”, says Zoé.

Ariana, supported by her mother Snejana, adds “This diploma is a great opportunity. It will allow me to continue my computer studies in Germany. I love the language and am delighted to discover the culture soon. Of Romanian origin, I speak four languages. I live internationally.”

The evening continued with song, around a glass of friendship, reviving the high school years before the start of a new life.
