Colombian Collector Murdered in León, Guanajuato: Links to Loan Extortion

Guanajuato.- State authorities identified this Thursday a man of Colombian nationality who was murdered in the San Felipe de Jesús neighborhood, in the city of León.

According to witnesses, the victim He was a collector for the moneylenders who offer credits with high interest rates to people who do not have access to banking servicesy extort to those who do not pay on time.

A video surveillance camera recorded the homicide: the video shows Anderson “Q”32, left a store where he had collected money for a loan, and they shot him before he boarded his motorcycle.

State authorities confirmed the nationality of the executed person and assured that he was being investigated for threats and collection of loans known as “drop by drop”. So far they have not arrested the murderer.

So far this year, six Colombians have been detained in the state, two of them are being prosecuted for the crime of extortion and are awaiting sentencing, and four more were channeled to the National Migration Institute (INM) after being arrested trying to collect interest on loans in the state capital, but they were freed, since there were no complaints against them.
