Colombian Actress Laura Londoño Reveals She Hasn’t Used Deodorant in 10 Years Due to Breast Cancer Concerns

The Colombian actress Laura Londoño, protagonist of the novel “Café, con aroma de mujer”, revealed on her social networks that she has not used deodorant for 10 years

What deodorant are you using? To which Laura replied: “Well, I’m telling you that I haven’t used deodorant for the modest sum of 10 years. None, none, none, zero, zero, absolutely zero. Because at some point I realized that breast cancer is closely associated with deodorants, not so much because they are deodorants, but because they are antiperspirants, ”the actress confessed in her social media stories.

Following her response, the famous Colombian pointed out that in the armpits there is a gland that has to perspire, “it doesn’t have to smell ugly, but it does have to sweat and get the toxins out there.”

“So I kind of detoxed that. I started using a natural deodorant and that takes a while for the body to adjust and regulate its pH. When one manages to transcend that initial discomfort, then I no longer had to use anything, ”Londoño assured on Instagram.

The 35-year-old actress was born in Medellín on February 13, 1988, and from a very young age she began to show that she liked the artistic world.

She debuted as an actress at the age of 18 in the Colombian telenovela called ‘Las profesionales, a su servicio’, in 2006, starring Aura Cristina Geithner and Diego Cadavid. In 2008 she had a great performance in ‘Without breasts there is no paradise’ and in 2012 she was the main protagonist in the famous series ‘El capo 2’. Then in 2016 and 2018 she starred in the Colombian telenovela ‘La ley del corazón’, with which she won the ‘Best Leading Actress in a Telenovela’ award at the India Catalina Awards. Laura Londoño is currently married to Santiago Mora Bahamón, a well-known filmmaker whom she met during a film festival in Cartagena. Both decided to consolidate their love in 2018 in front of the altar. From this relationship, Allegra Mora Londoño, her eldest daughter, was born three years ago and in 2022 Mikaela, her second daughter, was born.
