The renowned Colombian actress Carmenza Gómez, remembered for participating in the soap operas ‘Escalona’, ‘Perro amor’, ‘Hasta que la plata nos separe’, among other great productions, denounced this Wednesday a scam method in which she almost fell into.
The woman called on her followers to be attentive and not be fooled.
Apparently, the WhatsApp account of one of the actress’s friends was hacked by unscrupulous people who began asking contacts for money, including Carmenza Gómez.
“I want to ask you a favor (…) I need to make a payment to Nequi or Bancolombia and I can’t do it from my Scotiabank, tell me if you can do me the favor, I will refund the transfer tomorrow by the same means,” says the message that arrived by WhatsApp.
However, the woman already knew about this scam method and did not fall for these scams.

“Today they hacked a friend’s account. As I already knew about this type of theft, I didn’t fall into the trap,” said the actress through a publication on her Instagram, attaching a screenshot of the conversation.
In addition, he took the opportunity to say that he was making the publication to warn “those who are not aware” of this modality.
On the other hand, she also emphasized that she is not going to “ask for money by any means, even if she is in the filth,” alerting her friends, in case at some point her accounts or social networks are hacked.
Many Internet users took the opportunity to say that there are criminals who also carry out this type of scam through calls, so “you have to be very alert about these issues and report them.”
