Julio César Herrera is known for his role as Freddy Stewart Contreras in the Colombian soap opera “Betty la fea”, and since January 2, Julio César has been in Costa Rica working on a Teletica project.

In his 30-year professional career, Julio César has worked in theater, film and television, and when asked what, for him as an actor, what is the difference of doing projects on streaming platforms like Netflix, this is what he answered.
Like everything in life, Julio César has also gone through difficult stages and moments, one of them, just before starting what would be the greatest success in his career.
And speaking of “Betty the ugly”, it is a phenomenon that even today, 21 years later, resonates and hooks on Netflix, and not only the generations that have already seen it, but also the new ones.
