Jesurún commented that Conmebol extends the invitation to the ten Federations, to find out which one is interested in organizing the 2022 Copa América Femenina. If we had done the Copa América this year as we had contemplated it, we would have been hit a lucida and suddenly we would not have been third as we were in Brazil. “
Regarding the host cities, the FCF director made it clear that they would be the same cities that had planned to host this year’s men’s tournament. “We have the four most important cities that were going to host this Copa América, but I would add the Coffee Axis, cities like Bucaramanga (…) What we have are cities with good stadiums. Barranquilla, Bogotá, Medellín and Cali were very well equipped “.

“The idea is that the tournament is longer, but first find important resources because a long tournament has a great cost and not only from the point of view of the organization, but also from the clubs that have to have contracts.
