Colombia receives donation of 2.3 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine from Germany

The Vice President and Chancellor, Martha Lucia Ramirez, and the Health Minister, Ferdinand Ruiz received the donation of 2.3 million Pfizer vaccines that included the participation of high-ranking national government officials and representatives of the German government.

This donation comes as a result of the agenda developed by the Vice President and Chancellor during her working visit to Germany last November, when she met with the Federal President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the German Foreign Minister, Heiko Maas , within the framework of the tour that advanced by Europe, Africa and Asia by the end of 2021.

“The generosity with which the German government has once again honored its friendship and solidarity with Colombia. The cooperation of Germany towards Colombia is a State policy between two countries that have been united for many years”, said the senior official.
