1. FC Köln has probably put Joel Pohjanpalo’s personnel back on the record. According to a report in ‘Sport Bild’, the Finnish striker is simply too expensive for the billy goats. Bayer Leverkusen is said to be demanding €2.5 million for the 27-year-old a year before the end of the contract.

Pohjanpalo was on loan for the Turkish first division club Rizespor last season. In 33 appearances in the Süper Lig, he scored 16 goals and shot himself onto the notepad in Cologne, among other places.
