The “Kölner Treff” is the talk show on WDR. Every Friday at 10 p.m., prominent and lesser-known people have been coming here for decades to speak and tell their stories. Who are the guests at the Cologne meeting this time? Here is all the information:
Who are the guests on today’s broadcast from Kölner Treff?
And these names are there am 17.11.2023 on the guest list of the show:
- Atze Schröder: He is probably one of the most popular and successful comedians in Germany. He has been selling out halls for more than 25 years and his fans have been wondering who is hiding behind the aviator sunglasses and curly hair for just as long. Atze Schröder makes no secret of his personality – whether with curls or without: Atze Schröder wears his heart on his sleeve and is happy when his stories are well received. He will soon be going on tour with a new program. “The Redeemer” is the full-bodied title.
- Stefanie Heinzmann: She is celebrating her 15th stage anniversary this year. In 2008, Stefanie Heinzmann won Stefan Raab’s casting show, made her breakthrough as a singer and became a pop star. Great successes followed. She has released a total of six albums, won numerous awards such as the Echo, MTV Music Awards and the 1LIVE Krone and has appeared on stage with international stars such as Lionel Richie, Joss Stone and Tower of Power. But the Swiss woman also knows the dark side of life.
- Gregor Gysi: Lawyer, SED and left-wing politician, moderator – and speaker! The 75-year-old Gregor Gysi, who has had a say in the fate of German politics as a member of the Bundestag for over three decades, is considered quick-witted, pointed and now also extremely wise in life. He even demonstrates his rhetorical skills when he makes small talk at snack stands.
- Marlene Lufen: She has been one of the faces of SAT.1 breakfast television for over 25 years. And just as long, Marlene Lufen sets her alarm clock for 3 a.m. She needs a coffee to wake up. Tiredness doesn’t bother her, but she gets “hangry” quickly. That’s why we have lunch at 8 a.m. for the entire team. Since 2018, the presenter has also been presenting the reality show “Celebrity Big Brother” together with Jochen Schropp.
- Sabine Kuegler: She spent her childhood and youth in the jungles of West Papua in Indonesia. There her parents, both linguists, researched a tribe of indigenous people. At the age of seventeen, she left the jungle to finish school. Her experiences, written down in “Jungle Child,” made her famous. In 2012 she became seriously ill, then, abandoned by the doctors, she returned to the jungle, where she searched for a cure for many years and finally found it.
- Alexander Böhmer: Halfway around the world and back again: For Alexander Böhmer, this is part of everyday life. The Cologne native works as a flight attendant – with heart and soul. The 25-year-old is used to turbulence. But in 2018, a bone cancer diagnosis suddenly ripped the ground from under his feet. His leg has to be amputated. He fought the disease for three long, hard years with one clear goal in mind: He wanted to get back on the plane. By his motivation, his optimism and the challenges as “Cancersurvivor” he shares with 119,000 followers on social media every day.
Who are the moderators of the Cologne meeting today?
Today’s show is hosted by Susan Link and Micky Beisenherz. In addition to the two of them, WDR Talk incone Bettina Böttinger was also part of the team of presenters at the Kölner Treff until recently. Bettina Böttinger says goodbye to the Cologne meeting
After 17 years, Bettina Böttinger moderated the “Kölner Treff” on WDR for the last time on October 28, 2023. “What we did here was of course a lot of fun. But I think it was a meaningful piece of democracy somewhere,” said the 67-year-old at the end of her last edition on Friday evening, which, according to WDR, attracted 730,000 viewers in front of the screen in North Rhine-Westphalia alone (19.1 percent market share in NRW).
Talking to each other, getting to know new ways of life and ways of life, having fun together – that was something that, in addition to entertainment, also made a lot of sense, said Böttinger. At the end of her broadcast, she said with regard to the terrorist attacks on Israel and anti-Semitic incidents in this country: “I wish that no Jew in this country has to be afraid.” Jewish life belongs to Germany, “just as we want to live together with Palestinians who live peacefully here with us,” she said.
